Choose the guide for your device

iPhone & iPad · 2.3Apple/Microsoft calendar import, private iCloud sync and optional Windows QR connection.

Mac · 2.2Apple/Microsoft calendar import, private iCloud sync and optional iCloud Drive backups.

Windows · 2.4Google/Microsoft calendar import and optional account sync with connected phones.

Android · Beta 2.3Phone, Google and Microsoft calendar import, local backups and optional Windows account sync. Get it through Google Play.

Keep your app updated through its store to enjoy the latest features.

Sync not updating?

  1. Check your internet connection and open the app on both devices.
  2. For Apple iCloud sync, use the same Apple Account, enable iCloud for Deadline Desk and check available iCloud storage.
  3. For Deadline Desk account sync, confirm both devices use the same account and that the initial backup-and-sync review is complete. Resume account sync if it is paused.
  4. Open the account or sync screen. Resolve any pending conflict review, then use Sync now or the refresh control where available.

iCloud and Deadline Desk account sync are separate services. An iCloud storage warning does not by itself mean account sync has stopped. Offline edits stay on the device until a connection and any required review allow syncing.

Keep your app and account in place while checking sync. Export a private backup before making recovery changes, or contact us for help.

Restore your Pro purchase

You can restore an existing purchase without buying again. On Apple, choose Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that bought Pro. On Android, use the purchasing Google Play account and the restore option on the Pro screen. On Windows, open the Pro screen or Settings → Restore purchase / Refresh Pro.

Restoring a Stripe purchase to a different Windows computer transfers its activation from the previous computer. Cross-platform Pro requires a supported account connection and a successful purchase-sharing step; syncing tasks alone does not link the purchase.

TestFlight uses test purchases, not your live App Store entitlement. To check a real Apple purchase, use the App Store edition. Export a backup of local tasks before switching editions.

Need to recover tasks?

Open Backup & Restore, select an automatic backup to preview, or choose another backup file. Read the restore summary before confirming. A restored item may sync to your connected account and other devices. A backup does not restore a sign-in or Pro purchase.

Keep an independent copy by exporting a backup outside the app, especially before changing devices or uninstalling. iPhone, iPad and Mac also offer optional iCloud Drive backup copies, separate from normal private iCloud task sync.

Follow the backup and restore guide →

Help with calendar import

On iPhone/iPad or Mac, choose Apple Calendar or Microsoft Calendar. Google calendars already added to Apple Calendar are available through that option. On Windows 2.4, choose Google or Microsoft Calendar. Android Beta 2.3 offers Phone Calendar, Google Calendar and Microsoft Calendar.

For Phone Calendar, allow calendar access in Android settings and check that the calendar is available on your device. For Google or Microsoft, check your internet connection and approve the provider’s permission screen. Work/school accounts may need administrator approval. Follow the calendar-import guide →

Reminders not appearing?

Check the deadline’s reminder settings, allow notifications in your device settings and check Focus, Do Not Disturb and battery/background restrictions. Delivery depends on the device and operating system. After moving data to a new device, check its notification permissions too.

Contact support

Email info@deadlinedesk.app. Include your platform, app version, what you expected and the exact warning. A screenshot with private details hidden can help. Say whether you installed from a store, TestFlight or a test invitation.

Never send passwords, verification codes, payment-card details or your full task backup unless we explicitly arrange a suitable private support process. For purchase issues, a receipt/order reference may help; hide unrelated personal details.

Privacy and account deletion

Read the Privacy Policy or follow the account and data deletion instructions. Deleting your account does not cancel a store or Stripe subscription.
